A Christmas Story (2009)

The Polar Express (2004)

Merry Christmas (2005)

The film takes place during World War I on Christmas Eve. A Scottish priest, a French lieutenant, a German tenor and his lover find themselves in the very heart of the spontaneous brotherhood that arises between the trenches of the Germans, the English and the French.

They went to no man’s land and concluded a truce in the hope that all this horror of the war days would end on the eve of the holy holiday. They left the guns aside, exchanged cigarettes, shared chocolate and wished each other a Merry Christmas.

Serendipity (2001)

They met by chance in a supermarket: they took the same pair of gloves. Being strangers in the middle of a crowd in New York, they spend a wonderful evening together, despite the fact that they each have a regular partner. He’s getting married soon, and she has a wedding planned too.

Borrowed Hearts (1997)

The film tells the story of a single mother, Kathleen, who is raising her daughter Zoe and has one cherished dream. She dreams of her own big, beautiful house.

On Christmas Eve, she accidentally meets Sam, a rich and handsome guy whose tree is on fire with a Mexican businessman because he doesn’t like bachelors. And Sam, as luck would have it, is a bachelor. A panicked man invites his new acquaintance to live in his large mansion and perform a small performance in front of his partner.

Joulutarina (2007)

A long time ago, in Lapland, a boy named Nicholas’s parents tragically died. The villagers decide to take him under their wing. Each family cares for Nicholas for a year and then passes him on to another family each Christmas. As a token of gratitude, Nicholas always leaves farewell gifts – homemade toys – before leaving.

One difficult year, the residents are forced to give the boy to be raised by an old carpenter. He forbids Nicholas from giving gifts. This could have put an end to such a lovely tradition of Christmas gifts, but luckily Nicholas has figured out a way to ensure that children and adults receive gifts every year at Christmas.

The Family Man (2000)

13 years ago, Jack Campbell chose his career at the expense of his personal life. He had to say goodbye to his girlfriend named Kate and went to London. Today Jack is a successful businessman and director of a large company, for whom nothing is more important than work.
