The legendary complex of museums, founded by Pope Julius II at the beginning of the 16th century, has grown and enriched over the centuries. Due to the endless crowds of tourists, it is not always possible to enjoy the atmosphere and expositions of these places. It is for this purpose that a virtual tour has been created on the website of the museum complex, which will take you through 14 halls and galleries.
There you can see Raphael’s tapestries, Michelangelo’s frescoes, Danatello’s sculptures, Botticelli’s paintings and works by other top artists. Of course, a virtual tour will not be able to convey the full scale of the museum complex. However, with the help of such a distance walk, you can “stay” without haste and hustle in the Sistine Chapel, the Pio-Clementine Museum in the Belvedere Palace, the Chiaramonte Museum, the Braccio Nuovo Gallery, the Raphael Station, the Niccolina Chapel and the Chiaroscuro Hall.
