Today marks Marilyn Monroe’s 90th birthday. Especially for this date, the Independent published 12 rare photographs of the legendary actress. Among them are photographs showing a very young actress, when she did not yet use her pseudonym and everyone called her by her real name Norma Jane Baker, and later photographs taken literally six weeks before her tragic death.
In general, this collection shows 16 years from the life of the actress. Many of these works were created by legendary photographers.
