Screen Australia has published an infographic showing the share of women in the Australian film industry. In particular, it shows how much women occupy in such professions as producer, director and screenwriter.
The illustration is based on data for 1970-2014 (for feature films) and from 1988 to 2014 (for documentaries).
The graphs below show that the share of women in the film industry peaked in the mid-2000s.
