Probably, every corner of Ukraine is able to amaze with its beauties, but the Carpathians are a very special place. Even if you digress a little from the luxurious nature, you can visit a lot of the most beautiful points.
Svidovets ridge
Here, at almost every step, new views are opened up, worthy of the canvas and brush of great artists. At least a photo of the Carpathians from this angle is definitely worth taking.
Goverla
It is from here that even the Ukrainians themselves begin their acquaintance with the mountains of the Carpathians. This peak is known for its impressive height. In addition, the top is distinguished by the convenience of the site, it is flat, and from it you can see the most luxurious landscapes.
Mountain “Eared Stone”
The imagination of tourists draws a wide variety of pictures. Someone really sees an ear, someone sees a nose, but everyone agrees in one opinion – the slopes of the mountain are very picturesque. Those images that tourists see here are called “churches”, the eared stone is one of the most popular routes for a reason, as a rule, those who want to fully enjoy the local beauties go here.
Mountain Spitz
According to legend, this is the mountain that managed to make friends with thunderclouds and thunder. No wonder she attracts bad weather. It often rains here, washing rocks of the most bizarre shapes. However, if a tourist manages to get here in calm weather, then the panorama can amaze, being no less stunning. Due to the lack of rain, you can clearly see how magnificent the neighboring mountains are – Eared Stone, Petros, Hoverla, Brebeneskul, as well as the Gadzhin waterfalls.
Dzembronya
This is just the place where you can feel as comfortable as possible, hiding away from civilization and fuss. Of all the villages in Ukraine, this is the most mountainous and, despite the fact that getting here is not so easy, many, including popular people, considered it an honor. It is from here that the most popular routes along the Montenegrin ridge open.
Polonina Borzhava
Everything is beautiful here: sun-drenched glades, mountains covered with lush bright greenery, but the most colorful panoramas can be seen from the top of Mount Stii, whose height is about 1.6 km. This area is one of the best if you go hiking. Someone travels very simply, with a tent and a backpack, while others prefer to stay with great comfort in wooden cottages.
Krivorivnya
In fact, this is a small Hutsul village, in which the infrastructure, one might say, is lame. In fact, many go to Kryvorivnya in order to experience a different reality. Many people compare it with a truly magical place, enclosed in a mountain ring. There is not even a hint of the presence of high-rise buildings here, the village is not at all spoiled by civilization, and it is called “Ukrainian Athens” for a reason.
Dovbush rocks
Giant stones take the most intricate shapes here, many of them resemble fantastic creatures. According to the legend, each rock is a part of the body of the national hero Dovbush.
Skole Beskydy Park
The unique mountain range is located immediately between three rivers in the Carpathians. Here, the main thing that attracts attention is the forests of spruce, fir and beeches that have been growing for more than a century. In the park you can meet rare animals, enjoy the beauty of magical waterfalls, it is here that the Tustan reserve is located and well-known mineral springs flow.
Karst bridge
In place of the Carpathian Mountains, there was once an ancient sea. It is to him that the Carpathians owe the bizarre bas-reliefs that can be seen today. At the bottom of the sea, gone once, there was a rock Karst Bridge. You can get to it only on foot, as there is simply no road.
Milk Stone Cave
It can be safely called a real underground kingdom. The spacious hall plunges into the world of bizarre stalactites created by lime mortar that has been flowing down here for centuries. You should not go here alone, it is better to use the services of a guide who knows all the secrets of the cave and will tell you how not to anger the local owner.
Cinderella cave
Another unique place in the Ukrainian Carpathians, located underground. For a long time, the entrance to the Cinderella cave went completely unnoticed, and therefore few people knew about the beauties that open inside. By area, this gypsum cave is considered the third in the world. It is represented by numerous labyrinths, halls and underground lakes.
