The film about the outstanding scientist and artist Leonardo da Vinci “The Inventor” will be screened at a number of film festivals around the world.
The picture tells the story of Leonardo da Vinci, whose free-thinking contradicted Pope Leo X. He was sent away from Rome to the French court, where he was free to experiment, study the human body, and create flying devices and incredible machines.
The film was directed and written by Jim Capobianco. Ukrainian producer JD Zacharias and his colleagues from the USA and France Robert Ripperger, Phil Viardot and Ilan Urroz worked on the film.
Voice actors include Daisy Ridley (Star Wars), Marion Cotillard (Pink Light), Matt Berry (What We Do in the Shadows) and Stephen Fry (Wilde).
The picture participated in the main competition of the prestigious Annecy Animation Film Festival. In the future, the tape is expected to be shown at other major film forums, as well as international distribution.
