Early years and the path to fame
Tina Karol was born on January 25, 1985 in the village of Orotukan, Magadan region, in the family of engineers Grigory and Svetlana Lieberman. In 1992, her family moved to Ivano-Frankivsk, where Tina began studying at a music school. It was there that her extraordinary talent was noticed. After completing her studies in Ivano-Frankivsk, she moved to Kyiv, where she entered the R. M. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music.
In 2003, Tina got a role in the musical “Equator” at the Kyiv Operetta Theater, which became an important stage in her career. And already in 2005, after a triumphant performance at the “New Wave” festival, she gained popularity. In the same year, the singer toured Iraq and Kosovo as part of a peacekeeping mission.
Career and achievements
Tina Karol’s first album, “Show Me Your Love”, was released in 2006 and became “golden”. In the same year, she represented Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest, where she took seventh place. After that, she continued to delight listeners with new hits and successfully implemented her projects in music and cinema.
In 2007, the singer first performed on the stage of the National Palace of Arts “Ukraine”, and also presented a new album “Polyus prityazheniya”. Tina became increasingly popular not only in Ukraine, but also abroad, touring in Europe and the USA.

Personal life
Tina Karol’s personal life also became the object of great attention. The singer was married to producer Yevgeny Ogir, who, unfortunately, died in 2013 from cancer. The couple has a son, Veniamin, who has already become an important part of Tina’s life. Veniamin studies in the UK and actively helps orphans during the war in Ukraine.
Charity and volunteering
Tina Karol is actively involved in charitable activities. Since 2008, she has been a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Children’s Fund UNICEF, and in 2014 she opened the Pole of Attraction Charity Foundation, which helps children’s oncology departments in Ukrainian clinics.
After the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the singer moved to Poland, where she actively supports her country. She initiated many charity concerts, including in Poland and Israel, and raised significant funds to help Ukraine.
