“Sensation”: Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron in the trailer for a film about a high-profile sex scandal

The high-profile sex scandal of 2016 formed the basis of the film “Sensation” (Bombshell). The main roles in the film were played by Nicole Kidman (“Big Little Lies”), Charlize Theron (“Atomic Blonde”) and Margot Robbie (“Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood”). The film’s premiere is scheduled for December 19.

The film tells about employees of the Fox television channel who accused its director Roger Ailes of sexual harassment. It all started when former Fox News employee Gretchen Carlson filed a lawsuit against Ailes, accusing him of harassment. She claimed that she was fired precisely after she refused the advances of a television producer. Carlson was soon joined by Megyn Kelly and several other women. Ailes eventually resigned in 2016. And in 2017 he died.

The slogan of the film “Sensation” is: “What began with a whisper ends in a sensation.”

Let us remind you that earlier a teaser for the series “The Morning Show” with Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carell appeared online, as well as a trailer for another serial film about women’s revenge “Why Women Kill”. The premieres of both films are scheduled for the new television season.
