A virtual reality film will be made about Darth Vader

Lucasfilm has announced its plans to release a virtual reality film starring Darth Vader. David S. Goyer, known for several comics, his work on two parts of the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops and Nolan’s “The Dark Knight,” is working on the script for the film.

The film will be based on a completely original plot. The viewer will not take a passive, but a completely involved position. Interacting with the film will resemble a gaming experience. The filmmakers claim that it will have a completely immersive experience.

The finished film will be released in a year or two, according to Goyer.
