Kate has long dreamed of a house where all her dreams would come true, and finally her wishes came true – she and her husband became the owners of an old mansion in a secluded town. The film is a mystical thriller with elements of fantasy, drama and horror. The production was carried out in cooperation between France, Belgium and Luxembourg. Filming cost several million euros. The film was first shown at a film festival in Belgium in April 2019 and then presented at other festivals in France and Spain.
The original title of the film is The Room. Christian Volkman, the director of the film, previously worked on the crime noir action film Renaissance with Daniel Craig in the lead role. In the role of husband Kevin Janssens, an actor known for Belgian series such as Diamonds, Fighting in the Shadows, Above Water and others.
