A clip has been published showing the common features of different films. For example, the composition of a shot from Stanley Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket (1987) is repeated in Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom (2012).
In total, 14 pairs appear in the video. Among them are parallels between “Requiem for a Dream” and the musical “All That Jazz,” “Mustang” and “The Virgin Suicides,” “A Nightmare on Elm Street” and “Slug.”
The author of the clip was the popular video blogger Candice Drouet.
