The presentation of stars on the Oscars red carpet will begin at 18:30, and the awards ceremony itself will take place at 20:00.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Awards will be presented in 24 categories. The anniversary award ceremony will be shown in more than 225 countries around the world. The ceremony will be hosted by actor and comedian Jimmy Kimmel for the second year in a row.<\/p>\n<p>Ben Hur (1959), Titanic (1997) and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) received the most awards ever. Each of these films earned 11 statuettes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cutinsight.com\/dryan-broudy-10-luchshykh-fyl-mov-aktera\/\"><strong>Adrien Brody<\/strong> <\/a>is considered the youngest Oscar winner. He has been nominated 63 times. In total, he received 26 statuettes, and he received his first Oscar for the cartoon about Mickey Mouse in 1932.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Big Five film awards<\/strong> (in the categories for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cutinsight.com\/oskar-luchshie-detektivy\/\">best film<\/a>, director, screenplay, leading male and leading female role) were won by only three films: It Happened One Night (1934), One Flew Over the Cuckoo&#8217;s Nest (1975) and Silence lambs&#8221; (1991).<\/p>\n<p>The shortest title of an <a href=\"https:\/\/abc.com\/shows\/oscars\" rel=\"nofollow  noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Oscar-nominated<\/a> film is the 1970 French-Algerian film Z.<\/p>\n<p>The longest title of a film that was nominated for an American Film Award is \u201cThose Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines or How I Flew from London to Paris in 25 hours 11 minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The film with the lowest budget to win the main statuette was last year&#8217;s winner, <strong>Moonlight<\/strong>. The film was shot in 25 days on a budget of $1.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>One of the discussed embarrassments at the awards ceremony is also connected with this picture. During the ceremony, actors Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway announced <strong>La La Land<\/strong> as the best film from the stage. But then it turned out that there was a mistake &#8211; they received an envelope with the wrong name of the winning film.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"&#039;Moonlight&#039; or &#039;La La Land&#039;? He was nominated in the Best Film and Best Director categories. We don\u2019t know how to explain such attention of academics to the \u201cfrivolous\u201d picture. However, the academics were touched, inspired and, as a result, actively nominated \u201cBabe\u201d &#8211; despite the fact that his competitors that year were \u201cThe Usual Suspects\u201d, \u201cSeven\u201d, \u201cApollo 13\u201d, \u201cBraveheart\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In May 1929, the awards ceremony almost turned into a disaster. Among the nominees for best actor was a dog. More precisely, a whole pack of shepherd dogs who played the main role in the film \u201c<strong>Rin Tin Tin<\/strong>\u201d. However, just one nomination was not enough &#8211; the academicians unexpectedly gave the statuette to the dogs, recognizing them as the best actor. But they quickly came to their senses and took the award back, choosing a new winner, German actor Emil Jannings.<\/p>\n<p>Having filmed the frenzied melodrama <strong>\u201cSandpit Generals,\u201d<\/strong> director Hall Bartlett decided that he could boldly take a swing at the inner world of birds. He had the courage to take on the film adaptation of a book that, in principle, cannot be transferred to the screen. In Bartlett&#8217;s film we see birds doing what they call tea &#8211; eating, flying, screaming. And nothing more. Plus a voiceover. The film is shot rather clumsily and is far from any success. However, by a strange coincidence, he was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cutinsight.com\/oskar-luchshie-eksheny\/\">nominated for an Oscar<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bill &#038; Coe<\/strong> is another movie with faces. It stars lovebirds. It sounds pretty nice, but strange, especially for 1948, when the tape was released.
