The poet maintained friendly relations with this family, and it was in this house that he stayed during a difficult period of his life when he was brought to Cherkasy after his arrest. The park also features an interesting art object \u2014 a face wall made up of numerous portraits of Cherkasy residents.<\/p>\n

Cherkasy Registry Office<\/h2>\n

One of the most recognizable architectural buildings in the city is the Shcherbyna House, which now hosts the Cherkasy civil registry office. The exact date of construction is unknown, but researchers assume that the building was erected at the end of the nineteenth century or the beginning of the twentieth century. There is also a theory that the architect was Vladyslav Horodetsky, although this version has not been proven.<\/p>\n
