Its uniqueness lies in the fact that there is almost no other museum like it in Ukraine. In the nineteenth century the building where the museum is located served as the office of the commanders of the Black Sea Fleet. Today it houses a large exhibition dedicated to the history of navigation from the times of Kyivan Rus to the present day. The museum\u2019s collection contains about three thousand exhibits, including more than one hundred items that were raised from the bottom of the Black Sea and rivers. The monument is made of bluish-gray marble and was created with donations from local residents. The place has become a popular location for walks among both locals and visitors. It is believed that the settlement existed during the time of Troy, long before the appearance of the ancient Greek colony of Olbia. The first archaeological discovery made here was a bronze cauldron. Later researchers found fragments of ceramics, tools, and animal skeletons. It was founded in 1887 in the coastal part of the city. The building of the club, designed by the city architect L. Later an organ was installed in the church, and organ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cutinsight.com\/muzyka-dlia-kokhannia-naykrashchi-romantychni-melodii-vsikh-chasiv\/\">music<\/a> concerts began to be held there.
