The film will tell about the young Pontiff, who has just headed the Catholic Church.<\/p>\n<p>The plot of the series is not based on real events. It follows the fictional clergyman Lenny Belardo, who becomes the first American Pope, Pius XIII.<\/p>\n<p>As the creators of the film write, the main character will go through a long and difficult path of loneliness in order to find God for himself and for humanity. \u201cShrewd and naive, old-fashioned and very modern, doubtful and decisive, ironic, pedantic and ruthless,\u201d the main character is characterized in the description of the film.<\/p>\n<p>Jude Law will play the dad in the series.
