MEGOGO previously reported that compared to 2021, the number of views of Ukrainian-made films has increased fivefold. The platform&#8217;s latest data shows this trend continuing, with views increasing 3.3 times compared to the same period in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>For many Ukrainians, the use of OTT services is an integral part of family and personal leisure, as well as support for mental health in difficult times. MEGOGO users consume a variety of legal content: films, TV series, cartoons, sporting events, audiobooks and podcasts, as well as entertaining and educational shows.<\/p>\n<p>In the categories \u201cfilms\u201d, \u201cserials\u201d, \u201cchildren\u2019s content\u201d, \u201cshows\u201d, \u201caudio content\u201d, the TOP 10 titles are presented, selected by the total duration of viewing\/listening in hours on the MEGOGO media service. \u201cMovies in purchase\u201d are selected by the number of films sold in units, and \u201csporting events\u201d &#8211; by the number of views.<\/p>\n<p>The most popular films by category on MEGOGO<\/p>\n<p>Single purchase (TVOD)<\/p>\n<p>The American horror film with comedy elements \u201cMenu,\u201d which premiered digitally in Ukraine in January 2023, tops the rating. The top five in this category also included the cult sci-fi film \u201cAvatar\u201d, the superhero film based on comic books from Marvel Comics \u201cBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever\u201d, the Ukrainian-Polish historical drama \u201cShchedryk\u201d and the superhero film based on the DC Comics of the same name \u2013 \u201cBlack\u201d The second five of the rating included \u201cTop Gun: Maverick\u201d, \u201cBandit\u201d, \u201cThe Lost City\u201d, \u201cUnstoppable Wedding\u201d and \u201cFantastic Beasts: Dumbledore&#8217;s Secrets\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Prepaid (SVOD)<\/p>\n<p>The most popular films in the subscription were the American thriller \u201cPoker Face\u201d and the Ukrainian feature film \u201cSniper. White Raven (Extended Version)&#8221; and the family Christmas comedy &#8220;At Home.&#8221; The top ten also included \u201cAerobatics\u201d, \u201cHome Himself 2: Lost in New York\u201d, \u201cMaxim Osa and the Gold of Doghead\u201d, \u201cBarakuda\u201d, \u201cLive\u201d, \u201cAvengers: Endgame\u201d, \u201cAbove the Abyss\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Free to watch (AVOD)<\/p>\n<p>The TOP 10 most popular free films included 4 Ukrainian-produced projects dedicated to historical events: \u201cCyborgs\u201d directed by Akhtem Seitablayev with a script by Natalia Vorozhbit, \u201cIlovaisk 2014\u201d directed by Ivan Timchenko, \u201cDonbass\u201d directed by Sergei Loznitsa and \u201cKruty 1918\u201d directed by Alexey Shapareva.<\/p>\n<p>Ukrainian production<\/p>\n<p>The leader among Ukrainian-produced films on MEGOGO is \u201cSniper. White Raven (Extended version).&#8221; The tape also took first place in terms of the number of views on the media service over the past year. Second and third places in the ranking are taken by Maxim Osa and Pesigolovts&#8217; Gold, the first comic book adaptation in the history of Ukrainian cinema and the feature film I Work in a Cemetery, filmed as a co-production between Ukraine and Poland. The list also included such series as \u201cDark Matter\u201d, \u201cPolkan\u201d, \u201cHouse of Other People\u2019s Secrets\u201d, \u201cOpera on Call\u201d, \u201cMurdoch Investigation\u201d, \u201cAround the World in 80 Days\u201d, \u201cAgainst Fate\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Free to watch (AVOD)<\/p>\n<p>Among the most popular TV series available on MEGOGO for free, 9 out of 10 are Ukrainian-made. Among the leaders are the television series \u201cPapanki\u201d, \u201cMy Favorite Scary\u201d, \u201cKriposna\u201d, \u201cRogue\u201d, \u201cBunker\u201d, \u201cJack and London\u201d, \u201cWorst Friend\u201d, \u201cHealing with Love\u201d, \u201cBy the Right of Love\u201d. Only one foreign project, namely the Swedish-Danish detective series \u201cThe Bridge,\u201d entered the top, taking second place.<\/p>\n<p>Popular children&#8217;s content on MEGOGO<\/p>\n<p>Animated films<\/p>\n<p>Prepaid (SVOD)<\/p>\n<p>MEGOGO, as a media service for the whole family, has a large library of children&#8217;s content &#8211; cartoons and animated series. In first place is the educational program \u201cThe World Inside Out,\u201d an author\u2019s project by Dmitry Komarov. The second and third are the Diesel Studio projects: \u201cDiesel Show\u201d and \u201cFor Three\u201d. The fourth and fifth places were taken by the singing talent show \u201cVoice of the Country\u201d and the travel project \u201cIgor Zakharenko\u201d.
