The World Photography Organization, a leader in the international photography scene, has announced the National and Regional Award winners of the Sony World Photography Competition.<\/p>\n
This competition, organized by Sony, has a history of 14 years and has become one of the most prestigious competitions, providing an opportunity for both seasoned and up-and-coming photographers to shine.<\/p>\n
The photographs of the winners of the National Prize will be part of the overall open gallery of winners, which has become one of the strongest selections in the entire history of the competition.<\/p>\n
From Suzanne Schultz’s long-exposure portraits of Astrid to the near-mystical Greek landscapes of Thodoros Apeirantitis, each frame demonstrates the artist’s technical prowess and unique creative vision. You just can\u2019t take your eyes off these photos – they are truly amazing.<\/p>\n
Each year, judges select categories and regional winners from hundreds of thousands of images. For the 2021 awards, 165,000 photographs were submitted through an open competition, making them eligible for national awards.<\/p>\n
The winning images were selected from entries from 51 countries and regions, with some nations, such as the Japanese, boasting second and third places.<\/p>\n
This year, in addition to all the other art experts and curators, Mike Trow, Azu Nwagbogu and Anna Watson were judges. The approval of the national award winners was carried out anonymously by judges. In addition to worldwide recognition, the winners receive a digital imaging kit from Sony.<\/p>\n
