On the Independence Day of Ukraine at 23:10 on the 1+1 TV channel there will be a television premiere of the feature film \u201cViddana\u201d, based on the novel \u201cFelix Austria\u201d by Sofia Andrukhovich.<\/p>\n
The plot centers on the relationship between the Ukrainian maid Stefania Chornenko and the panyanka of German-Polish blood Adele Anger. Stephanie’s parents and Adele’s mother died in a fire in 1868. Dr. Unger, Adele’s father, took a neighbor’s orphan into his house. The girls grew up together and became close, like sisters. Their relationship turned into a love trap, full of mutual manipulation, jealousy, resentment and at the same time sacrifice, care, and dedication.<\/p>\n
The image of a delicate beauty with aristocratic habits, Adele Anger, was embodied in the film by Ukrainian actress Alesya Romanova, known to viewers of the channel from the TV series \u201cSchool\u201d. The film \u201cViddana\u201d became her debut in a feature film.<\/p>\n
