In 2014, only two Ukrainian films made money: \u201cLove in the City 3\u201d (co-production with Russia) and the documentary \u201cMaidan\u201d (co-production with the Netherlands).<\/p>\n
\u201cLove in the City 3\u201d collected in CIS cinemas an amount that was five times its budget \u2013 $15.88 million.<\/p>\n
The exact collections of the \u201cMaidan\u201d film have not yet been published. However, according to director Sergei Loznitsa, the film \u201cfully financed itself – covered production costs. I can\u2019t say the final collections, since the film is still being released somewhere.\u201d<\/p>\n
