It all starts with a phrase about the war by Minister Simon Foster, unsuccessfully dropped in one of the radio programs. A whole cascade of events is instantly launched on both sides of the ocean, the goal of which is to unleash a war in the Middle East. In the story, Annie, a woman in her thirties, lost her job and soon after that she broke up with her boyfriend. Her friend Lillian is marrying a banker and asks Annie to be her maid of honor.
