Christopher Nolan’s multi-genre epic film Tenant now can be proclaimed as the film that restarted moviegoing after a long hiatus caused by cinemas closures. The picture debuted this weekend, so far only internationally, to a surprisingly good box office of $53 million in 41 countries. The best result was in Great Britain, where it collected $7.1 million. Followed by France – $6.7 million, South Korea – $5.1 million and Germany – $4.2 million. The industry is eager to know what will happen next weekend, when Tenet will open in such major territories as the United States, China and Russia.
