The long-awaited Warner Bros. $200 million espionage film Tenet has secured a Sept. 4 release date in China and has the tentative day of release in the US on September 3, 2020. Christopher Nolan’s picture will become the first Hollywood blockbuster to be released in theaters as cinemas start to reopen around the world and will give a real boost to a miserable box office as cinemas reopen in spite of continuing pandemic. Meanwhile it looks like for the first time in history China will overcome the US in the yearly box office results.
