Its total overseas collection is $115.6 million, while its worldwide total to date stands at $283.68 million. The nearest major opening countries are France (October 20), Germany (October 21), Australia (November 25) and Japan (December 3).
No Time to Die collected $53.99 million in 72 countries, including $11.2 million in the UK and Ireland, where it dropped 46% for a total of $92.9 million to date dollars It also took about $9.3 million in Germany, $5.6 million in France, $2.8 million in the Netherlands, and $2.6 million in Russia. Major markets yet to open include China (October 29) and Australia (November 11).
The Addams Family 2 collected about $9.71 million in 21 countries this weekend, including $3.9 million in Russia. It has $16.23M overseas to date. Dune’s international cume rose to $129.3M this weekend after the Dennis Villeneuve-directed sci-fi film took in an additional $8.5M from 36 markets , including debuts in Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Greece.
Warner Bros. will be released in North American theaters next weekend. Halloween Kills opened with an estimated $5.5 million from 20 countries, including the UK and Ireland, where it finished third behind No Time to Die and Venom: Let There Be Carnage with $2.3 million. Halloween Kills won at the North American box office this weekend, surpassing expectations for its debut with $50.35 million from 3,705 theaters, further evidence of the return of the theater business after a prolonged pandemic slump. On the other hand, 20th Century Studios’ The Last Duel underperformed as its first outing underperformed the film’s already modest weekend projections.
After opening with a somewhat disappointing (though still strong) $55.23 million last weekend in North America, No Time to Die slipped to second place with $24.3 million on its second outing, down 56% from its debut . That second-weekend drop is slightly larger than 2012’s Bond blockbuster Skyfall and 2015’s Specter , which dropped 54% and 52%, respectively, in their second weekend. To date, No Time to Die has a domestic gross of $99.51 million.
Sony’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage held up well in its third weekend of release, with an estimated $16.5 million, down 48% from its second weekend. Thus, the total for the sequel was 168.08 million, which is only slightly below the first Venom, which had earned 171.06 million dollars to that point.
