Popular video blogger Candice Drouet published a video that contains short fragments from films in which famous paintings appear. The clip is three minutes long and includes clips from approximately 35 tapes.
In the video you can find quotes from “Melancholia” by Trier, “The Great Gatsby” by Luhrmann, “Amelie” by Jeunet, “V for Vendetta” by McTeigue, “The Thomas Crown Affair” by McTiernan and other films.
The video contains paintings by Monet, Bosch, Goya, Picasso, Bacon, Bruegel, Rothko, Magritte and other classics.
The video was created as part of Candice Drouet’s author’s project “My Life in 1,000,000 Frames.” As part of it, the blogger publishes a series of thematic videos edited from films that she watched in her life. Kandis operates mainly with American, British and French theatrical and festival hits.
