A popular video blogger Candice Drouet has posted a one-minute-long video showing how in his film A.I. Artificial Intelligence Steven Spielberg has referenced such Stanley Kubrick’s works as 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), A Clockwork Orange (1971), Barry Lyndon (1975) and The Shining (1980).

Some stand-alone scenes mirror the composition of Kubrick’s films, while others borrow the style, atmosphere and flavor of the master’s works.

Earlier Candice Drouet posted a video, compiling references from classical films made in movies of the last few years.
