A three-minute clip “Pedro Almodóvar’s obsession with the color red” has appeared online. It includes footage from the films of the famous Spaniard, made in red tones.
There are 16 tapes mentioned in the video. The earliest of them is The Immodest Charm of Vice (1983), and the latest is Juliet, which premiered at the recent Cannes Film Festival. There are also excerpts from the films “All About My Mother” (1999), “Talk to Her” (2002) and “The Return” (2006).
The red color in these films emphasizes the passion and temperament of the award-winning Spaniard’s works.
The author of the video is George Luengo. This video opens a series of clips that will collect the stylistic features of Pedro Almodóvar’s work.
Previously, we published a video containing poetic footage from the films of Alejandro González Iñárritu.
