The Center for Special Operations “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine is one of the most well-known and effective units within Ukraine’s security forces. Many people know the fighters of this elite formation by the name “Alpha.” For many years, the unit has carried out extremely difficult combat missions, conducted special operations, and participated in some of the most dangerous assignments where professionalism, endurance, and maximum precision are essential.
CSO “A” was originally created as a special unit for counterterrorism and dealing with highly dangerous threats. In addition, CSO “A” servicemen periodically give interviews in which they share details about certain missions, talk about the realities of service, and recall the most dangerous moments of their work.
A feature film about Ukrainian special operators titled Killhouse was also produced. The movie tells the story of a group of elite special forces fighters who receive an extremely difficult mission.
