Spider-Man: Top 8 Movies

Without a doubt, attentive comic book viewers have long noticed that the history of the creation of a series of films about Spider-Man is quite complicated. Eight films have been made in almost twenty years, thanks to different views and disputes between Marvel and Sony. In this article, we decided to make a brief overview of these tapes, starting from the most popular ones.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

The first Marvel movie about Spider-Man. Here Marvel decided to skip the story of Uncle Ben. All the attention in the picture went to Peter Parker. The ideal candidate for the lead role was Tom Holland with his youthful charm. Like all Marvel heroes, Spider-Man lives in the same world as Thor and Captain America. It is the young hero who single-handedly tries to defeat the Vulture, despite the fact that only seasoned heroes can do it.

Currently, according to many, “Homecoming” is the most successful picture. That was until the new, ninth film came out. Fans of the comic book are insanely eager for the release of a new trailer, and the number of rumors is heating up the situation to the limit. There are already officially confirmed roles: Alfred Molina will play Dr. Okk, Defoe will play Osborn, and Strage will now become the new mentor of the young spider. In general, we will see all the bad guys of Marvel in one picture.

“Spider-Man 2” (2004)

Among the many comics filmed, Spider-Man 2 still ranks among the most successful superhero films. Here, many will agree. Molina’s high-class performance in this film will be repeated in the new film No Way Home. In the second film of the trilogy, all the roles, all the experiences of the protagonist are competently played. In the film, Peter Parker struggles to strike a balance between being an ordinary teenager and becoming a superhero with all the obligations that come with it. Osborne’s revelations are also incredibly touching, preparations for the next episode are perfectly done. After many fantastic action films filmed in recent years, the special effects of those times may seem ridiculous and meager. In 2004, that was the mark of a quality superhero movie.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)

This Sony animation was a real revelation. For fans of the comics, this animation was uniquely successful in its visualization. However, in the picture, the leitmotif of the familiar Spider-Man is still respected. In our opinion, it is in this film that Spider-Man has the most beautiful and incredible tricks. In general, the picture turned out, probably, the most original: a non-standard creative approach, a demonstration of bright tricks, unforgettable spider flights in one of the most beautiful cities – New York. It’s just a treat for the eyes.

Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)

Far From Home tells us about the world after the departure of Tony Stark and the life of a spider in the shadow of Iron Man. In general, the comic turned out to be dynamic and fun.

“Spider-Man” (2002)

In the days of Blade and the X-Men, 2002’s Spider-Man changed the perception of the superhero, starting the real popularity of all comics, which has not subsided to this day.

“The Amazing Spider-Man” (2012)

The Amazing Spider-Man is the new Peter Parker. Humor and quick wits distinguish Garfield from the old spiders. Some changes in the characters and actors marked the beginning of a new story, which indirectly sheds light on the missing parents of the spider. This time, many viewers did not agree with the choice of Garfield for the main role, and the whole teenage and love motive did not suit everyone. Despite this, box office receipts were strong enough for the creators to keep creating.

“The Amazing Spider-Man: High Voltage” (2014)

The film “High Voltage” did not impress fans much. We can say that the second Sony Spider-Man movie was clearly a failure. However, even here there are pluses: after all, it was after the unsuccessful reboot that Sony began to cooperate with Marvel.

“Spider-Man 3” (2007)

The third film received a lot of criticism, as it placed a lot of negative characters in it. Here everything goes awry: the “good” characters become “evil”, and the villains are no longer the same as they were in the first part. In pursuit, the asteroid with Venom also fell on the spider’s head. “The Enemy in Reflection” is not the most successful picture.
