Family oriented comedy The War With Grandpa with Robert De Niro as Grandpa won the North American weekend box office with 3.6 million doll, finally removing Christopher Nolan’s Tenet from the six week lead. Tenet collected just 2.1 million doll for a not so impressive domestic total of 48.3 million doll. Internationally it stands now at 275 million doll for a global haul of 323.3 million doll. World cinema revenue in 2019 was 45.1 billion doll, but due to the coronavirus pandemic accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, predicting a 65.6 percent drop to 15.5 billion doll. For the U.S., projection is a 65.7 percent decline from $11.4 billion in 2019 to $3.9 billion this year.
